Directory Toolkit Shareware Downloads

Two shareware download formats (Windows .msi installer & .zip) are available for Directory Toolkit (separate 32-bit and x64 versions). The self-install versions install the program into the path of your choice (C:\Program Files\DirTkt is the default suggestion). No files are added or changed in your 'system' directory. An uninstall choice is added to Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs.

Directory Toolkit is for Windows NT/2000/XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista (all versions). Windows 95/98/ME are not officially supported. However, the 32-bit version can be used on those older operating systems.

Language interface downloads are available below for German, Dutch, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Some older Greek, Japanese, Norwegian, and Swedish are also available. Write support@funduc.com if you need an older language dll that is not listed in the download links below.

If you are interested in the international versions, install the English version first and then add the language support files into the same subdirectory as the Directory Toolkit program Exit and restart Directory Toolkit to activate the change.

Registered Users: Do not upgrade your license by installing the shareware version. You should follow the upgrade instructions you received from us. Write support@funduc.com if you lost your copy of the upgrade instructions. If you are a registered international user, you should upgrade your language dll's after installing the registered .exe by downloading and installing the appropriate dll's below.


Base Shareware Versions (English)
	SETUPDT.EXE (2.0 MB)	(32-bit version) Download this to a temporary directory and run 'setupdt.exe' to install. No files are added to your 'system' subdirectory. To uninstall use the Control Panel 'Add/Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features' function for your operating system and locate Directory Toolkit. Follow the operating system produres to uninstall.
	DIRTKT.ZIP (1.7 MB)	(32-bit version) Download this to a temporary directory and UnZIP this into the subdirectory of your choice and follow the instructions in "Install.txt".
	SETUPDT64.EXE (2.4 MB)	(x64 version) Download this to a temporary directory and run 'setupdt64.exei'. No files are added to your 'system' subdirectory. To uninstall use the Control Panel 'Add/Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features' function for your operating system and locate Directory Toolkit. Follow the operating system produres to uninstall.
	DIRTKT-64.ZIP (2.0 MB)	(x64 version) Download this to a temporary directory and UnZIP this into the subdirectory of your choice and follow the instructions in "Install.txt".
Other Downloads
	Special Config Utility	Visit the Directory Toolkit Special Configuration Utility page for a tool that can quickly make some special settings that are not available through the program Options dialog.
	DTCLIENT.EXE (100K)	This is a network client configuration tool for v 3.1+ (32 bit). Run this from a network workstation and use it to adjust the references to the location of dirtkt.exe, the program work path (it can be different from the .exe path), and the program shortcuts on the current machine.
	DT External_Editors	This zip file (5K) has some information and example .reg files for setting the external text and binary editors - viewers for Directory Toolkit's File Contents Comparison dialog. See the cautionary notes about making changes to your registry. Do so at your own risk.
German Support
	The German modules include the interface DLL and documentation. The documentation is current.

	The Netherlands module is the interface DLL only. Download the zip to a temporary path and unzip into the same path as dirtkt.exe.

	The Italian interface downloads are the language dll only.

Japanese Support
	Japanese language dlls are available to v 3.7. They require 32 bit Windows Japanese. The F1 documentation is not available. Also available is a "Double Byte" compile, which are is a special build of the program .exe (dirtkt.exe) for double byte windows. If you want to use the double byte compile, first install the English shareware, back up dirtkt.exe, and replace it with the double byte build. For safety, the version in the zip is named 'dirtktj.exe'. Rename accordingly.
